After filming episode after episode in the good ole USA, The Bachelor finally gave us some of the glamorous, romantic dates that we are accustomed to seeing abroad. The Bachelor was filmed in Bali at The Mulia and in Bali’s countryside as Chris Soules tried to whittle his bachelorette hopefuls down to the final two in Season 19.
They played with monkeys, had romantic dinners, went sailing and Whitney Bischoff, Becca Tilley and Kaityn Bristowe had their romantic Bachelor moments in the Fantasy Room at the Mulia Resort in Bali.
The Mulia is located along the Nusa Dua coast. The property includes a resort (The Mulia) villas (Mulia Villas) and 111 suites, called Mulia.
The Mulia has created a Fantasy Retreat Package that includes the following:
- Fine Caviar and Champagne
- An outdoor jacuzzi
- Spa services at Mulia Spa
- A star-lit dining experience at Soleil Mediterranean & Pan-Asian Restaurant
Chris truly enjoyed his experience at the Mulia, it seems. He had this to say in his blog on People.com:
The Mulia hotel was one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever seen. I even had my own butler. That was an experience in and of itself. I’d never had a butler before (shocking, right?), but this guy was good. I think if I had asked, he would have been willing to help me get to those hard-to-reach places on my back while I was showering. This guy was legit. I almost wanted to bring him back to the farm he was so good. Heri, you are the man! Whatever they are paying you is not enough! If you ever want to consider a career in Arlington, let me know.
