The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka’upulehu Kailua-Kona, Hawaii earned the award for the top luxury hotel in the world, the United States and the top hotel overall in the TripAdvisor 2013 Traveler’s Choice Awards. According to TripAdvisor, the average per night rate for hotels in the best luxury category was $296 per night, compared to an average of $213 per night for all of the winners. TripAdvisor listed the top 25 hotels in the world and America. The top family hotels, bed and breakfast accommodations, the best bargain hotel, the top small hotel, and the best hotel for service. The listing included winners for the United States and the world, and the luxury Hawaii hotel received multiple honors.  The winners were chosen based on feedback from the hotel’s guests.
