Sun Park Living Resort in Playa Blanca is designed for singles and couples who are 50 years old and over. The property, an apartment complex, caters to active adult travelers who seek a holiday getaway for long or short-term stays. According to a press release announcing the community, it is not a retirement community nor is it exclusively a holiday resort. Sun Park Living Resort is more of a community in Playa Blanca. It was designed to give residents a village-like atmosphere. The residents, themselves, organize all of the activities in this active community. Therefore, most of the activities have minimum costs or they are free, the release said.
The 220 apartments are furnished, but residents are welcomed to use their own furniture if they choose. They are encouraged to decorate their apartments to make them their own. The advertised price for the apartments is 625 Euros for every four weeks, and residents do not need to sign a long-term contract. They can stay as many or as few days as they wish. Utilities, grounds maintenance, wi-fi, and other extras are included in the fee.
