A new hotel that will built inside Atlanta’s historic Candler Building, will join Hilton’s Curios Collection when the hotel is completed in late 2017. The Curio Collection is a selection of chosen upscale, luxurious hotels.

The former office building, built in the 1900s, will be transformed into a 265-room hotel with a grand lobby areas, featuring a large chandelier, an impressive stairway, and the building’s original Tiffany windows. A restaurant/ bar is planned for the space where a bank once stood in the Chandler building, and the rooftop of the building is planned to be utilized for impressive views of the Atlanta skyline.

The Candler building, where the new hotel will be located is in downtown Atlanta, next to Woodruff Park and the Rialto Center for the Arts. It is near the World of Coca-Cola, Centennial Olympic Park, and the Georgia Aquarium.

REM Associates, L.P. owns the building and the hotel, once completed, Highgate Hotels will manage the hotel.
