Shanghai Disneyland will open on June 16, 2016, but Dorothy Wang of the Rich Kids of Beverly Hills reality show was there before the official grand opening. Dorothy attended a special preview of the latest Disney Land property of Asia. It is the only Disney resort in China. Morgan wrote on her Instagram post that Shanghai Disneyland will be the largest international Disneyland park.
There were 963 acres planned for the development of the Shanghai Disneyland theme park, two hotels, an entertainment complex with shopping and food. One of the two hotels will be be mid-range and the other hotel will be more upscale.
Also included in the plan is a 100 acre lake.
An artist’s rendering released in the U.S. by Disney Parks on April 7, 2011 depicts the proposed Shanghai Disney Resort. Disney Parks officially broke ground on the planned resort in Shanghai on April 8, 2011.
