A new JW Marriott Hotel, scheduled to open in 2018 will be the first luxury hotel in Edmonton, Alberta’s ICE district. The ICE district will offer visitors entertainment options and sports facilities. It will be a go-to spot for concerts as well as professional hockey games, movies, high-end shopping, movies, gaming, and dining.

The new 356-room hotel will have meeting space/conference space upwards of 25,000 square feet and a 10,000 square-foot ballroom. According to a recent release from Marriott, the hotel will have one of the largest ballrooms in the region. A luxurious Spa by JW, and a restaurant are also planned for the new Marriott.

Planned to be in close proximity to trendy homes and businesses, the ICE district is hoped to be the largest entertainment and sports districts in the region.
