Disney Parks announced on December 4, 2015 the opening of Star Wars Launch Bays, central location for Star Wars fans to experience and have fun with Star Wars at Disney Parks. The Launch Bays are located on both the East Coast and the West Coast. They are available at Tomorrowland at Disneyland Park in California and at the Animation Courtyard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida.
At the launch bays, fans can interact with Star Wars characters, see Star Wars memorabilia, play games and buy items with the Star Wars theme. Attractions at the Launch Bay at both locations include:
- The Launch Bay Theater with short videos about the creation of the movie
- The Cantina, an area to take photos
- Star Wars Game Center, a place to play new Star Wars video games
- Galleries with Star Wars Memorabilia

Star Wars Launch Bay is the central locale for guests to celebrate all things Star Wars at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort. Inside, guests may encounter beloved Star Wars characters, play the latest Star Wars interactive video games, explore galleries full of treasured memorabilia and authentic replicas of large-scale Star Wars artifacts, including ones from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and have access to Star Wars merchandise.
