Below Deck is back for Season 4 with some of your favorite cast members and some newcomers, too. Somewhere Luxurious asked them about their favorite beaches.
Who is Captain Lee?

Captain Lee is leading the Below Deck crew into season 4 (and hopefully beyond). As an experienced seaman, he has his own idea of the best beach. Here’s his favorite.
My favorite beach is Grace Bay in Provo in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Its white crystalline sand, with gin clear water inside a reef that provides the most stunning back drop of color you can imagine. A close 2nd is the pink sand beaches of Eleuthera in the Bahamas for the same reason. Just add pink.
Who is Nico Sholly?

Nico Scholly is a new face on Below Deck. This Chicago native is a former real estate worker who changed his career path to pursue yachting. Nico’s experience comes from working on a billionaire’s private yacht for a couple of years and a variety of celebrities and entertainers. He moved from Chicago to Ft. Lauderdale to immerse himself in his career. Here’s what Nico had to say about his favorite beach.
My favorite beach has to be in Kefalonia, Greece. The coast line is rugged then out of nowhere there’s this big white sanded beach with the most teal blue water I’ve ever seen. I enjoy it so much that while on charter, on my break, I made a YouTube video with my GoPro climbing up a cliff then jumping off!
Who Is Kelley Johnson?

Pink Sands Beach is my favorite beach because of the beautiful color of the sand, the turquoise waters and it’s on Harbour island which is my favorite island in the Bahamas.
Who is Lauren Burchell?

My Favorite beach would have to be on Jost Van Dyke by the famous “Soggy Dolla Beach Bar’! I have never seen water as crystal and animatedly blue in my life. Powder sugar white sands and happy people in the sunshine everywhere, I absolutely love it!
Who is Emily Warburton-Adams?

Hailing from London, 21-year-old Emily Warburton-Adams is Below Deck’s new stewardess for Season 4. She has worked on ships for about two years, but has a bulk of experiences. Although she had plans to go to school at Cambridge University, but she changed her plans after a colleague told her about sea life. So what is the best beach for this vivacious yachtie? Here’s Emily’s opinion.
A little cove beach in La Ciotat. It’s not famous, will not be known by any guests as it’s a beach near our shipyard location but I used to go there in the morning before work for a swim at sunrise and after work for a snorkel and it was beautiful and very quiet, hardly anyone knew about it and that’s what I loved. It was my peace and quiet away from everything.
Who is Kate Chastain?

Chief Stewardess Kate Chastain is back on the Below Deck crew for Season 4. Although there were some romantic sparks between her and Chef Ben Robinson, Kate returned to Below Deck this season with a new love interest (off of the ship). Also an avid traveler, Kate has this to say about her favorite beach:
My favorite beach is called Illetas, and it is found on the island of Palma De Mallorca in the Mediterranean. The beach itself is not that big, but the sand is soft and golden brown while the sea is crystal clear and welcoming. Located inside a small horseshoe shaped bay, beautiful old stone hotels and the lush foliage of trees and bougainvillea surround a perfectly protected turquoise blue lagoon. Parasols and daybeds are available for hire and if you need some refreshment after an afternoon swim, a small stroll to the nearby bar and restaurant offers just enough convenience. Maybe it’s my favorite beach for personal reasons, the beach I spent my days at during a solo trip around Europe after a busy season, but to me Illetas in Palma de Mallorca is the perfect mix of Mediterranean elegance, Caribbean colored water and laid back luxury.
