Cynthia Bailey of the Real Housewives of Atlanta has expanded Cynthia Bailey Eyewear to include readers. The RHOA entrepreneur shot her first commercial to advertise her eyewear on the show. Most of the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast appeared in the commercial, which was filmed in Jamaica. The entire Real Housewives of Atlanta cast, with the exception of Kandi, who was pregnant at the time, was on-location to take part in the commercial and visit Cynthia’s husband, Peter Thomas‘ homeland.

On the RHOA, Cynthia wanted Kim Fields and her friend Kenya Moore to help her develop and shoot the commercial. Kenya wasn’t able to attend a meeting for the commercial, and Kim Fields was ready with a concept and drawings for Cynthia’s sunglasses line. Kim also expressed the desire to be at the helm of the project, to produce and direct it, and Cynthia agreed. Kenya felt slighted because of that arrangement, and although she was in Jamaica and on the scene for the filming of the Cynthia Bailey Eyewear commercial, she did not appear in it.

The  commercial features Cynthia having a dull, boring time on the beach, until she puts on her sunglasses and all of the attention is on her.

The Cynthia Bailey sunglasses line included about ten styles, all with large frames and UV protection. Her new eyewear readers line have stylish, oversize lenses and are available in various colors and patterns.

Cynthia Bailey will be selling eyewear from her line, and meeting fans at the Ultimate Women’s Expo, which takes place May 14-15 at the Georgia World Congress Center. She is a keynote speaker for the expo. Cynthia recently posted images of her new line of readers: .
