Ben Higgins is he newest Bachelor for Season 20, ABC announced in a recent release. The 26-year-old software salesman who was rejected by Kaitlyn Bristowe, the most recent Bachelorette. Heartbroken when he didn’t get a rose, Ben said that he was unlovable, and his words touched the hearts of fans of the Bachelor TV shows.

Although he is from Warsaw, Indiana, Ben lives in Denver, Colorado. His parents still live in Warsaw. Warsaw is a city with close-knit relationships, and where Ben got his strong family values is evident. His parents, David and Amy have been married for 34 years.
An only child, Ben enjoys hiking, fishing, basketball and stimulating conversation. He also loves to travel and has been to Peru, where he worked in a zoo, Bolivia, where in hit the jungle and he visited Machu Picchu, a historical site also in Peru.
The Bachelor premieres on January 4, 2016 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on ABC. It’s the 2001st episode of the show.
