Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris tied the knot at a special Brooklyn venue on Memorial Day, May 25, 2015. The nuptials were televised in a VH1 Television Special. Yandy wore a $25,000 beaded tulle gown by Pnina Tornai, nicknamed the Bling Princess. VH1 viewers chose the dress by tweeting their choice from among two stunning gowns. Fans did not choose the $25,000 satin ball gown, she called the royal queen gown. Big Tigger, one of the hosts of the wedding special revealed that Yandy spent about $90,000 on wedding bling.
Anyone who had been watching the short video updates on VH1 knew that Yandy had been stressed out about finding a venue for her wedding. She had just a little time to find a place.
Here’s Where Yandy and Mendeecees were Married
Yandy chose Weylin B. Seymour’s at Broadway and Driggs Avenue in Brooklyn. The historic building is the former home of the Williamsburgh Savings Bank which opened in 1875. The building was restored to its current splendor. Weylin B. Seymour’s iconic dome, magical marble floors and exquisite architecture made it the perfect place for a star-studded wedding.
Speaking of star studded guests, Yandy’s guest list included Renee Graziano and Karen Gravano from the Mob Wives, Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker from the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Ceasar and Dutchess from Black Ink, Singer and Reality TV Star (Love and Hip Hop Atlanta and New York) K. Michelle, who sung at the wedding, Kirk and Rasheeda from Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, Ray J. and Princess from Love and Hip Hop Hollywood, Joseline and Stevie J. from Love and Hip Hop Atlanta (Stevie was one of the hosts) Rich Dollaz and Moniece; Tara Wallace and Peter Gunz, from Love and Hip Hop New York and more. Here are some of the photos from the wedding of Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris.
Their invitation was simply beautiful. Notice that Yandy’s name is printed in an elaborate script, and Mendeecee’s name is printed in a simple, more masculine, boxy type.
Yandy and Mendeecees presented their own vows during the ceremony. I
Yandy wanted her wedding to look like the Garden of Eden. It looked like a beautiful fantasy.
Yandy’s bridesmaids were lovely.
It looks like Yandy did have to worry about having a problem with her bridesmaid’s dresses. They looked fabulous.
They look like they are so in love.

Yandy wasn’t kidding when she said that she wanted to splurge of flowers. Wow!
Yandy had three flower girls, and their dresses were as cute and could be.
