WeTV introduced viewers this month to five Atlanta hair stylists who are vying for Boss Status in the ever-so competitive the beauty industry. The reality show Cutting It in the ATL also gives viewers the heads-up on where they can get their hair styled.

Mushiya

Mushiya is the founder and Creative Director of The Damn Salon, a Roswell Road (Atlanta) salon which specializes in natural hair care. The stylists in this salon create runway worthy looks from natural tresses and extensions. There’s a second location in Charlotte, NC.

Beautii Joseph

 

Beautii J. is the owner of Spoiled Opulence Salon. A Miami native and a graduate of North Miami High School, Beautii J. moved to Atlanta to be closer to her sister. Now a salon owner and single mother, she styles several celebrities. According to WeTV, she’s styled Tamika Tiny Harris, Kandi Burruss, Regina Bell.

Maja Sly

Maja Sly started Walk-in Weaves,  a business that provides affordable weaves to patrons from five locations in Georgia. Her company is marketed as a $50 hair salon, and although the weaves are not too pricey, they aren’t too cheap.

LaKenya

LaKenya is a graduate of the Empire Beauty School. She holds a B.A. in Fashion Design & Marketing from American InterContinental University.

Dedra

Dedra is a beauty industry veteran with over 20 years of experience. Dedra is a hair educator for the Bronner Brothers International Beauty Show and she’s the owner of JDoah Hair Salon.
