Taylor Nolan wouldn’t take “no” for an answer without setting the record straight with Nick Vialls in Week 6, Season 21 of The Bachelor . She told Nick that he was being lied to and that Corinne Olympios had made her seem as though she was a bully. Nick confirmed that he didn’t think that Taylor was a bully and that he respected her. He said that his decision had to do with where his heart was and Corinne’s opinions of her didn’t have anything to do with it.
Alexis Waters, the 23-year-old aspiring dolphin trainer from Secaucus, NJ, Josephine Tutman, 24, a registered nurse, Santa Cruz, CA and Jaimi King, the 28-year-old chef from New Orleans were eliminated in week 6.
The remaining women got the good news that they were going to St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
U.S. Virgin Islands
While in St. Thomas the group stayed at Frenchman’s Reef and Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort, a four star beachfront resort with a full spa and a fitness center. They were literally stumbling over each other to check out every room where they were staying. Three of the women hadn’t had a one-on-one date at this point. Jasmine Goode, the professional basketball team dancer, Kristina Schulman, the dental hygienist, and Whitney Fransway, the Pilates instructor still hadn’t had a one-on-one date. Kristina got the one-on-one date this time around, and Jasmine was extremely disappointed.
Kristina was whisked was to a small island where they played on the beach and in the sea. When they got together to talk during dinner, Kristina revealed that she became an orphan after her mother kicked her out of the house. She was poor during her childhood with her mother in Russia, and sometimes the young girl went hungry Kristina lived in the orphanage until she was adopted and brought to the U.S. Kristina explained that she has a sister back home in Russia. Nick gave Kristina a rose for her openness and the possibility that she could be the one. Later that night, a band played local music for them while they danced together.
The group date card said “Life’s a Beach,” and that’s exactly where the women and Nick went — to the beach. The plan was to play volleyball, drink, and relax, but the competition for Nick’s attention was getting to the women. They complained, were moody, and the group date was anything but fun.
Corinne tried to go off and take a nap, and when Nick tried to refocus her attention to the game, the other women became annoyed at the attention that he gave her. In one quick moment, Jasmine pushed her during the game. Even Rachel Lindsay was upset. She felt that she was no longer one of the top contender’s for Nick’s heart, and she made it clear that she didn’t like the group date scene at all. Raven Gates got the group date.
The two-on-one date was next on the agenda. Whitney, Danielle L. and Nick took a helicopter to the Preserve at Botany Bay for the date. It was another beach date with a bad ending. Nick decided to eliminate Whitney because he clearly felt that he didn’t feel love brewing for her. So, Danielle L. was thrilled. Nick and Danielle L. toured Fort. Christian, the oldest structure in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Then they settled down for a romantic dinner. Danielle L. confessed that she was falling in love with Nick, but she didn’t notice the look on Nick’s face. He didn’t feel the same way. So, after breaking the news, that he couldn’t give her the rose, he sent her home.
Nick returned to the Marriott and told his bachelorettes what happened, and he tearfully wondered if things were going to work out for him.
